We are thrilled to announce the release of Issue 8: To Protect and Serve, for City of Heroes and City of Villains. This marks the eighth free expansion to City of Heroes since its release in April 2004. Issue 8 introduces a host of innovative features, gameplay improvements and player programs.
One of the most exciting additions is the new Veteran Rewards Program, which rewards long-standing members with many cool new features, such as wings and trench coats, special powers, and eventually non-combat pets!
Issue 7: Destiny Manifest allowed villains to wreak havoc in the PvP zone Recluse's Victory and physics-filled Mayhem Missions. Now it's the Heroes' turn to take back the streets with Safeguard Missions!
